We bring immersive, curriculum-aligned VR experiences directly to your school — no buses, no field trip planning, no logistics headaches.

WHY AURORA VR

Built With Real Science Educators

We're working with the team behind Step Into Webb, the experience that was presented at TELUS World of Science.

The Partnership

Aurora VR is working with the team behind Step Into Webb, the experience that was presented at TELUS World of Science. Now it comes directly into your gymnasium.

The Technology

Step Into Webb runs on Adventure Portal, a free-roam educational VR platform built for real classroom and science-centre use — not a consumer gaming product adapted for schools. Unlike headset-only VR, students physically walk together through one shared virtual world, genuinely exploring side-by-side rather than sitting isolated in their own simulation. The same technology is already deployed in museums and science centres across North America, supporting groups from a single class of 4 up to 40 learners at once.

Our Service

Aurora VR handles your entire visit, start to finish — we mobilize, install, and run the experience with our own trained staff, then clean up and take everything with us when we leave. Our team can interact with students in French or English, though the VR content itself is currently in English (with French translation in development).

Proven With Real Audiences

Step Into Webb was previously presented at TELUS World of Science, where families and school groups consistently ranked it among their favorite exhibits.

HOW IT WORKS

VR Learning That Comes to You

Each student steps into a themed puzzle and scavenger-hunt experience, taking their turn in VR for about 15 minutes while classmates dive into hands-on activities of their own.

How a Visit Works

Step Into Webb is a themed puzzle and scavenger-hunt experience designed for a full class period. Here's how a visit works on the day:

We bring a full mobile VR arena and headsets right to your school — everything runs off a single power outlet, and setup and teardown each take about an hour to 90 minutes. The space itself needs roughly 7m × 7m of clear floor space.

Classes rotate through in groups of 8. While one group is in VR, the rest of the class stays engaged with prepared activities — so a full class of 24-32 students can move through in about 80 minutes, with no lost instructional time.

Every headset is sanitized between rounds, and all staff are trained with full criminal record checks, including vulnerability sector screening — documentation available on request.
